Designed for performance applications, this cover accommodates OE and aftermarket LS1, 2, 3 and 6. With a provision for a timing pointer, cam sensor or crank trigger, our cover fits double roller timing sets and aftermarket oil pumps.
COMP Cams LS Timing Cover part # 5496 fits all GM LS Based blocks, OEM and aftermarket, including the RHS® LS Race Block. The cover has a unique design that allows it to work with both front and rear Cam sensor LS engines. It however will not work with the LS7s unique oil pump and chain tensioner setup (Part # 5497 will).
