aFe is proud to introduce the all new stage-2 intake system for the 2013-2014 RAM diesel trucks with the L6-6.7L turbo diesel engine. In recent testing this system outflowed the factory intake by 113%. This highly engineered system uses a powder-coated heat-shielded air box with a one-piece intake tube. Handling filtration duties is the PRO 5R performance air filter that features 5-layers of progressively finer mesh cotton gauze media. The PRO 5R filter is constructed with 100% polyurethane for long life and multiple cleaning cycles. The heat-insulating, molded plastic intake tube adapts to the stock intake elbow making it easier for installation. The tube is also engineered for improved volumetric efficiency and maximum performance while lowering Intake Air Temps (I.A.T.). Utilizing factory mounting points, this system provides a hassle-free installation.
Easy to install one piece 16-gauge powder-coated heat shield requires no cutting or drilling. Stylish powder-coated steel or brushed aluminum cover blocks heat and directs cold air to the filter while quieting intake noise. The precision designed molded plastic intake tube maximizes airflow volume and speed for optimum power gains. 360 degree flow, washable and reusable, limited lifetime filters are high flow and high performance.
